[They are in the medbay!!! Su Jiuqing is probably here on purpose, but Yasusada's just wandered in from exploring, and he greets her with a quick smile as he approaches, looking around.]

Is this for repairs?

[she smiles back at him from where she's taking stock of the supplies.]

Repairs...? Ah, yes. I believe this is a doctor's office of some kind, although it has more supplies than I'm used to.

Anyway here is Yasusada!!! He's come to find her... I can't remember if they talked about this icly already but if not then I'm handwaving that they did.]

week one, thursday

anyway, after he's had some time in his healing pod, yasusada will wake up to find that jiuqing is in the medbay! she's been keeping busy with the other people who got injured. skillswap week means her talent is coming and going but for the sake of pcs i'm just going to say it goes when people are asleep in the pods and returns when they wake up.

anyway. once she realizes he's awake, she'll head over, concerned.]

...how are you feeling?

[He is awake! The slash across his throat is healed enough to no longer be life-threatening, and that was the biggest injury he had. The scratches on his face still look ugly, and she'll probably have to take the bits of metal out of his face herself.

Yasusada, of course, doesn't seem particularly cognizant of any of this--as soon as he conscious, he opens his mouth, reaching out automatically.]

Kiyo--[His voice is strained, raspy, like he's been choking; he dissolves into coughs halfway through Kashuu's name.]

[Who dared to give Dana death on MY birthday weekend!!!!!

Anyway here is Yasusada... sad sword is sad. It's not the panicked, tearful anguish she'd seen on him last week, when he'd thought Kashuu was dead--but there's a heavy weight to his shoulders, and he looks, for once, very much his 550 years. He doesn't greet her, but he isn't giving off "go away" vibes, either; he won't turn her away if she approaches.]

[WHO COULD HAVE DONE THIS...

jiuqing approaches carefully, her expression sympathetic, and because it's touch week she reaches out to place a hand on his shoulder.]

...Sir Yasusada?

[PRE OR POST-EXECUTION it is up to you!!!

Yasusada disappeared pretty quickly after the trial--unsurprising, most likely. But he can be found around today, looking tired, like didn't get very much sleep.

He nods to her in greeting, which is a step up from Friday, so that's... something. Maybe not good, but something.]

[unsure if i want this to be pre- or post- so tbh let's just get started and if it just doesn't fit with post-execution once we see what it is we can say it's pre-.

anyway! jiuqing nods back to him in greeting when they come across each other, but she doesn't keep walking. instead, she hands him one of the cups in her hand - it's tea.]

...Sir Yasusada. I was hoping you might be able to spare a little time to drink with me.

week three, monday

[here they are, minding their own business in the void, when a bubble just comes out of nowhere and traps them. how rude.

jiuqing is getting exceedingly tired of this, but it is what it is.]

My apologies, Sir Yasusada. Let's hope it will make this quick.

[there's a burst of metallic color, and then -

it's unpleasant, to say the least. death always is. ...even when it doesn't stick.]

[SO RUDE... I'm glad you started this because I totally forgot they have to ICly share it.

Anyway, he just gives her a small smile, because they're all used to this by now--though his brow furrows at the end of it, head tilted slightly.]

[actually you know what. i'm just going to reuse the same starter because let's be real, she's a doctor and she's absolutely resting like she's supposed to.

jiuqing can be found in the medbay, lying on her stomach on one of the cots. she looks a little sleepy - she's just taken a nap, apparently? - but when she hears footsteps, she rouses, and looks up.]

Ah... hello.

[So many well-behaved people in this game, they balance out the absolute maniacs.

But there are way too many people he likes in here so he will unpeel himself from Kashuu's side eventually and go check up on her!! Fortunately she got somewhat healed up before coming here, but still.]

Su-sensei? Are you alright?

week three, sunday

[wow! today's execution be wild.

once that's all done and an appropriate amount of time has passed for jiuqing to not be bleeding out everywhere, she can be found in the medical bay, resting on one of the cots (why do i keep writing "carts" first i've done that like three times) because she's drained and exhausted after the fight with malik.

but even resting, she's still trying to stay productive - she's reading a medical textbook, but she looks up when she hears him approach.]

Sir Yasusada.

[THERE SURE WAS A LOT.

Yams is also in medbay, incidentally--he spent an hour in the pods himself at some point, just to heal up his hand injury enough that a smaller bandage would be enough for it. And since they're both here, he'll come check up on her.]

Su-sensei... how are you doing?

week four, sunday

yasusada is here, and so is jiuqing. i'm not sure if you were just smokescreening with "he's going to be good and heal his burns" when really we were going to have them talk about role stuff, so i don't want to be like "when he gets out of the pod, she's here," but. she's here!]

Sir Yasusada...

[MEDBAY LMFKDSJGHK no he really is here to get healed. Let's say he's out of the pod now--it's later by this point, since he'll go in for the full 8 hours to be safe.]

Su-sensei. [Unfortunately the pods cannot cure depression.]

[Not me forgetting what week it is

ANYWAY Yasusada is mostly just here to grab some bandages!! Though he will stop by to talk to her before he leaves for curfew.]

Su-sensei? How's everyone doing?

They're recovering.

[looking him over... his wounds weren't so terrible when they came back, but she can't imagine that the one that had scarred over by the time he arrived was at all pleasant.]

And you...?

[Well Kashuu is probably in a pod at some point so HE WILL COME VISIT HER when he's not fussing over his peanut.]

Su-sensei? Can I help?

[well! well.

she looks significantly more worse-off now that the black, tarlike substance is gone, because instead of looking like someone just dumped black goo on her, it is now possible to see the full extent of her injuries. she's pretty heavily bandaged all over, and most of the parts of her that are not bandaged are mottled with bruises.

...

also, she freezes up when she hears yasusada's voice, and doesn't turn around to face him. instead, very quietly:]

...I'm sorry.

week six, sunday

[idk where yams will be after All Of That but jiuqing will come looking for him after danny has been dealt with]

Sir Yasusada?

[He is here!! Honestly probably on his way out of the medbay; they weren't too badly wounded, given that Danny didn't really fight them, but he and Kashuu definitely left right away to get cleaned up and bandaged.

He doesn't try to avoid her or anything, though--in fact, he seems fairly settled, all things considered. Not happy, of course, but not as upset as he'd been yesterday.]

week seven, saturday

[well.

that was a lot! a good sort of a lot, in that they got through to the residents, but still a lot. jiuqing lingers in the gardens near the meeting hall after they're done for the day, and when she spots movement inside of it, she goes in to look - ]

Sir Yasusada?

[It sure was!! And honestly, Yasusada is probably doing the same thing. He's always liked these gardens.]
