I don't think anyone expects you to forgive them. Or... at least, I would hope they wouldn't.

[like. yes, there's a distinct possibility that they've been - affected, somehow, like kazuma clearly was and how he'd insisted that ryunosuke had been. but a death is still a death, a loss is still a loss. it hurts, even if there is the possibility that once they're out of here, their aruji can find his spirit and summon him back.

jiuqing never forgave the people who hurt (redacted). she can't bring herself to think that yasusada, then, owes anyone forgiveness of any kind.]


No matter the circumstances, the loss is fresh, and knowing the reasons won't necessarily make it hurt any less.
