[They are in the medbay!!! Su Jiuqing is probably here on purpose, but Yasusada's just wandered in from exploring, and he greets her with a quick smile as he approaches, looking around.]
Let's start with one of the basics - cleaning and bandaging wounds. It's important to make sure wounds are well-bandaged so that if someone is injured they don't bleed out, but you'll want to make sure they're properly cleaned before you wrap them up. It sounds straightforward enough, but you wouldn't believe the number of patients I've had come in with an infected injury because they simply wrapped a bandage around it and thought that was all they needed to do after they got hurt.
[This, at least, is familiar--he nods as he listens, and doesn't look super surprised by this, though his knowledge of wound infection may be somewhat outdated.]
I know about stab wounds, and a little bit about bullet wounds. [Though, granted, Okita wasn't really around for that, and he's hardly Mutsunokami.] Do you have to do anything differently for other types of wounds?
For burns, you'll want to cool the affected area first, and apply a salve before you bandage it up. You'll also want to be sure not to break any blisters, or to bandage it too tightly.
If the burn is on a hand, you'll want to remove any rings or anything else that may be tight around it first.
Anyway here is Yasusada!!! He's come to find her... I can't remember if they talked about this icly already but if not then I'm handwaving that they did.]
Sure! [Why is yams in charge of this he doesn't know shit. He has also located a large rock, probably pilfered from the hot springs or something. It's fine.]
Then we have to put them a little ways apart--we're not really going anywhere, so I don't think it matters very much how far.
