[they did not get to fuss over each other yesterday because they were BOTH CYOA-ING HELP. But after the mass text Yasusada is probably off checking up on other people, so he's relieved to see her. His voice still sounds strained and weak, but a little better than yesterday.]

Vin? Are you okay?

[allomantic]

[all of her injuries have been bandaged by now, so they're no longer visible. most of the bandages are under her clothes, so the only real sign something happened is the fact that her hand is bandaged and she's moving much slower than normal.]

...I will be. What about you?

[aitou]

[Yasusada, for his part, still has angry-looking scratches on his face, along with the cuts--and, of course, the bandage on his throat. He nods carefully, though.]

Yeah. I was going to heal some more today, but... [but the healing pods are closed now which is very funny AND ALSO] You saw the message, right?

[allomantic]

[she nods, with a frown.]

Yes. I do not understand why he was...

[there's a sigh.]

[laughs brokenly in post-trial]

Do you think it was an accident?

[allomantic]

It is hard to imagine how such an accident could happen there... But just as hard to imagine any other scenario, I suppose. So, I do not know.

[after a moment:]

What would your guess be?

[aitou]

[Hmmm. He thinks about it.]

Not always, but... humans usually have a reason for killing others. [It might not be a good reason, or a correct one, but they usually have something driving that choice.] But I can't think of one that makes sense.

[allomantic]

[she sighs.]

Neither do I. He was kind... I could see someone taking advantage of that kindness, but I do not see what someone might stand to gain from it in this circumstance.
