I don't really know if the retrograde army tries to change history in other places--but Aruji often tries to send us back to eras we're familiar with, so we can recognize what's changed, or what the enemy's targets might be. So sending us somewhere completely unfamiliar... we could still fight, but it would be a lot harder for us to help.

Oh, so culture and familiarity matters where you get sent, otherwise it's kind of a futile exercise? [ if you don't recognise the era, then you're just wandering around blind and unaware, if what it sounds like. ] So... you might not get somewhere one of these Western swords would normally be.

It’s like you get stuff from Calvard in Crossbell, as well as Erebonian stuff. Things from different places can exist in one space. Maybe it’ll be like that?
