Mmm, I don't know about dependent... [So many swords have had a billion different masters, after all--and on the other hand, some were never even used in battle.] But isn't it natural that they'd influence us?
That’s sort of what I mean — you pick up and assimilate styles you’re used for and that makes your style combined and influenced by the master you have, or have had in the past.
